My husband and I just recover from dengue…….my husband symptom is a bit different from me……husband dengue symptom….high fever, shivering, nausea, rashes, body pain… while my symptom …high fever, vomit, shivering, body pain and bad rashes…… the biggest different is my platelet did not drastically drop but my husband platelet drop until 18 and doc do platelet transfusion…
…all advise from friends & family I try to help increase my husband platelet…..crab soup and etc but its not work (maybe not suitable for him) until one day one of nurses told us to drink kiwi juice….since both of us admitted …difficult for us to get Kiwi juice…luckily during dinner time…the hospital serve Kiwi juice for my husband and slice of kiwi fruit for me…..the next day….my hubby platelet increase to 82 and my platelet increase from 150 to 169….and the doc allow us to discharged…..actually I’m not really well…the next 2 days I do blood test again and my platelet drop again to 141……the doc quite surprise and told me if I still feel weak, she want me to admit again…..my husband bought me Kiwi juice and force me to drink….luckily after 2 days my platelet increase to 300….
Another fresh story…my husband’s aunty also infected with dengue fever….her platelet drop to 76…. I bought her Kiwi juice and the next day ..her platelet increased to 170…..and doc allow her to discharge….
Share the miracle of KIWI juice ……pls email to all friends who have been infected with dengue fever…..especially kids…….
After all there is no harm in consuming Kiwi juice.

ഡെങ്കി വീണ്ടും പടരുന്നു! പ്രത്യകിച്ച് ജിദ്ദയില്‍! ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ദ്വൈവാരത്തില്‍ എന്റെ 2 villamates നു ഡെങ്കി പിടിച്ചു! ഒരാളുടെ platelet 14 വരെ താഴ്ന്നു! 150 - 450 വരെയാണ് നോര്‍മല്‍. ഇപ്പൊ recuperating. അതിനിടയില്‍ മറ്റൊരു villamate പറയാണ് അവരുടെ 10 വയസ്സുള്ള മോന് ചെറുപ്പം മുതല്‍ തന്നെ platelet വളരെ കുറവാണ്! 10 വരെ എത്തിയ ഘട്ടങ്ങളുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട് ! ഒരിക്കലും 80 നു മുകളില്‍ പോയിട്ടില്ല. അത്‌ കാരണം ഇപ്പയും സുന്നത് കല്ല്യാണം (circumcision) ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; രക്തം clot ആവില്ല. അപ്പോ platelet താഴ്ന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ഡെങ്കി യുണ്ടാവണമെന്നില്ല! പക്ഷെ ഡെങ്കി പിടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കി platelet താഴും!
ReplyDeletedengue fever spreads again! esp in jeddah. in the last fortnight my 2 villamates caught it! one's platelet came down upto 14! the normal range is 150 - 450. both are nw recuperating. in the meantime, another villamate says that his 10yr old boy's platelet is very low from the very infancy time. it has even gone down to 10. never gone up beyond 80. so, circumcision not done yet as the blood wont clot. it means that low platelet doesnt mean the person has dengue fever! but dengue caught person's platelet wud necessarily b go down!!
